New exhaust pipe for motorbike

Published by Matt Polaine | Filed under Honda XRV750, Matthew's wishlist

remducati.jpgThe standard exhaust is OK, but it is hard to keep it from rusting as I ride the motorbike in all weathers. It does, however, weigh a huge amount. I don’t know what Honda was thinking. I’m not into after-market go-faster stuff, but I am into fuel saving. The Remus Revolution weighs far far less and allows better breathing, so for less fuel I get the same speed. It also sounds better, but that’s just my bragging excuse. A new exhaust (or even eBay decent second-hand one) would mean I could keep the original Honda one in the shed, so I can stop it from rusting away.

Needs to be for a 2000 Honda XRV750 RD07a, and requires a link pipe, which should come with it if new. Costs new (with link pipe) about £230. See stores like this one.
